An Introduction to AMIE Partnerships
AMIE engages AMIE affiliated companies and agencies, hereafter referred to as AMIE Organizations, with the HBCU higher education engineering community, hereafter referred to as the AMIE Institutions. AMIE partnerships seek to benefit both AMIE Organizations and AMIE Institutions in many ways. From research interaction and student recruitment, to customer relationships and policy advocacy - numerous AMIE Organizations advance the interests of engineering within the HBCU engineering education institutions. AMIE works to add value to these various organizational engagements through partnership advocacy that are of benefit to both the AMIE Organizations and the AMIE Institutions.
AMIE maintains a focus on a defined set of HBCU universities with accredited engineering programs and where strong AMIE Organizational involvement exists. Partnerships at these schools exist on multiple levels and the degree of involvement is driven according to the needs of each individual AMIE Organization and AMIE Institution.
